PROJECTIONS OF PHOTOGRAPHS, VIDEOS AND ON-SITE LIGHT INSTALLATIONS

Sylvie Tubiana lives in La Rochelle, France. She has held many exhibitions of her work in France and abroad in Museum and in public and private galleries. Her work is based on the projection of still or moving images in the space, as to the artist any surface is a screen starting from the principle that any surface constitutes a screen, in echo with cave art. The artist stages projected images into spaces or on drawings and paintings, in a dialogue with the architecture and the atmosphere of the place or of the object, therefore creating a link between historical architecture and contemporary art.
